Police & Sheriff Calls for Mar. 17-
Cold Water Disturbance: At 3:05 p.m. a call was made from the 300 block of Birch St. regarding screaming and yelling heard from upstairs. Officers arrived to find that the cold water was turned on while a woman was in the shower, and that everything was fine.
Road Rage: At 4:47 p.m. a call was placed from the 1900 block of Wickham Ave. regarding a disturbance. Allegedly, a man threatened the complainant with a baseball bat during an altercation on the road. Officers caught up to the man and a citation was issued.
Xanax Emergency?: At 1:51 a.m. a call was placed from the 300 block of 7th Ave. South regarding caller who told dispatch that she took six Xanax pills. Her speech was slurred and stopped mid-sentence and stopped communicating. Officers arrived to find that everything was okay.
Large Knife: At 12:33 p.m. a call was made from the intersection of Washington St. and 32nd St. North regarding a large knife found in the middle of the road. The large knife was properly disposed of.
