Police & Sheriff Calls for Mar. 18

Threats Made: At 6:09 p.m. a call was made from the 1800 block of 1st St. South regarding threats being made to her. The complainant stated a man was making threats to her on the other side of her door of her residence.

Out of Control Teen: At 11:21 p.m. a call was made from the 100 block of 21st Ave. South regarding an out of control 16-year-old. The altercation between the caller and the teen escalated into verbal threats, but once officers arrived the two calmed down and will work it out.

Mysterious Light: At 2:03 a.m. a call was made from the 1600 block of 18th Ave. South regarding a loud bang and huge flash of light coming from a nearby building. It is believed to be a blown transformer, but residents in the surrounding area reported the noise coming from different areas of where the noise and light was believed to be emanating from.

Possible Battery: At 4:55 p.m. a call was made from the 521 block of Elm St. regarding a domestic disturbance. The complainant stated that a man used the wood from a broken table to hit her. Officers handled the situation and a report has been made.
