Police & Sheriff Calls for Mar. 22

Prowler Alert: At 2:44 p.m. a call was placed from the 1300 block of McKinley St. regarding a a possible prowler. Someone was at the complainant’s door, and this person would not identify themselves. The caller stated that he had a knife and was going to take care of it himself.
Gang Signs: At 4:08 p.m. a call was made from a business on the 4600 block of 8th St. South regarding a 37-year-old man throwing up gang sings and yelling at the complainant. Officers caught up to the man and a report was made.
Suspicion in Sandlot: At 9:15 p.m. a call was made from the corner of Goodnow Ave. and Sampson St. regarding suspicious activity in Sandlot Park. The caller stated that a black car always drives to the park, meets with another car, and then leaves. A record has been filed.
Tree Abuse: At 9:53 p.m. a call was made from the 1200 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding a man throwing a knife into trees and a house. Once officers arrived at the scene, the man throwing the knife would not come out of the house.
