Police & Sheriff Calls for Mar. 27
Confusing Threats: A call was made from the 200 block of Lyons St. regarding a woman who had been driving into her yard, yelling that she had a vehicle parked on her property that belonged to her. She also demanded to know where her boyfriend is.
Hospital Drop-Off: At 1:00 p.m. a call was made from a medical facility on 410 Dewey St. regarding a woman who was given heroin by her father, and then dropped off at the emergency room. She did not want police called. A report has been made.
Snowball Abuse: At 1:45 p.m. a call was made from the 200 block of 17th Ave. South regarding an 8-year-old boy who was getting snowballs thrown at him by other boys. Police spoke to the culprits and verbally warned them to stop.
Burglary: At 6:39 p.m. a call was made from the 500 block of 9th Ave. South regarding a burglary. The complainant was out of town when a friend, watching his dog, found that his doors were wide open and that money had gone missing.
