The Mid-State Technical College (Mid-State) Foundation is currently accepting registrations for its 29th annual golf outing. The event will take place on Wednesday, Jun. 15 at Lake Arrowhead Golf Course. All proceeds from the event will benefit a variety of Mid-State Foundation student programs.

The event features a new theme each year; this year, participants will enjoy summer golf in an “Elvis” theme.

Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. and participants tee off at 10:00 a.m.  The $150 early-bird per person registration fee includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch, dinner, drink ticket, skins game entry, mulligan, 24 raffle tickets, bingo card, and all on course games are included in your registration. “One price for everything—a great value,” summarized Foundation & Alumni Director Jill Steckbauer. Teams are asked to commit before March 31 to ensure early-bird pricing. After March 31, the registration fee is $200.

“This annual golf outing raises more money for student programs than any other Mid-State Foundation event over the course of the year,” said Steckbauer.  “Monies from this outing and our other fundraisers help change lives, create hope, and assist students in realizing their academic and future dreams.”

Steckbauer also noted that there are still course sponsorship opportunities available.

“Knowing that people care about helping students reach our educational goals by offering scholarships to offset tuition worries is greatly appreciated,” one recent scholarship recipient said.

For more information, contact Steckbauer at 715-422-5322 or [email protected]. Visit mstc.edu/foundation for registration and sponsorship forms.
