Police & Sheriff Calls for Mar. 29
Mailbox Bandit: A call was made from the 2800 block of Gaynor Ave. regarding a damaged mailbox. There were other several damaged mailboxes in the area.
Wanderlust: At 4:02 p.m. a call was made from the 600 block of 7th St. North regarding a 4 to 5-year-old child walking down Baker St. wearing nothing but a jacket and underwear, pushing a wheelchair. The mother was contacted and took care of it.
Carseat Thief: At 4:47 p.m. a call was made from a retail store on the 4300 block of 8th St. South regarding a person who stole a carseat. Employees were able to get the carseat back, and the person is on video.
Domestic Disturbance: A call was made from a residence on the 600 block of 13th Ave. North regarding regarding a domestic disturbance. The caller stated she was assaulted, and strangled by another man. An ambulance was called and officers made contact with the alleged culprit.
