“Cooking For 1 or 2” Class

For the City Times
Do you think planning and cooking meals for only 1 or 2 people is more trouble than it is worth? If so, join the Wood County Association for Home and Community Education (HCE) group who is hosting Cooking for 1 or 2. This class is presented by Wood County’s UW-Extension’s Family Living Educator, Sarah Siegel.
Cooking for 1 or 2 people may seem like a big effort for a small reward. However, eating meals at home can be more nutritious, more economical and better tasting compared to fast food options. Join us at the Wood County Courthouse Auditorium on Tuesday, Apr. 12, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm to learn how to plan tasty and nutritious meals while staying within your budget. Learn how to incorporate “planned overs” into your meal planning and savor the flavor of your meals.
Home and Community Education (HCE) is a non-profit organization which partners with UW-Extension Family Living to bring quality educational programming to its members and the community.
