Police & Sheriff Calls for Apr. 4
Public Urination: At 11:18 a.m. a call was made from the 600 block of E. Grand Ave. regarding a man who was urinating on a building in plain sight. By the time an officer arrived, the man had left the scene of the alleged heinous crime.
Sweatpants Fiend: A call was made from a business on the 4300 block of 8th St. South regarding a woman who stole three pairs of red sweatpants.
Lighter Fiends: At 5:34 p.m. a call was made from a store on the 200 block of 8th St. South regarding kids who allegedly stole some lighters and took off running. The caller believed she knew what direction the kids were headed.
Harmful Threats: At 11:07 p.m. a call was made from a business on the 2900 block of 8th St. South regarding a man with a gun who threatened to shoot others in the vicinity. Tensions would calm and everything would eventually be okay.
