Police & Sheriff Calls for Apr. 11
Creeper Alert: A call was made from a park on the 700 block of 8th St. South regarding a man sitting on Chestnut St. in a burgundy vehicle with binoculars. The man was reported to have been watching the kids in the nearby park. Officers arrived to find nobody in the vehicle.
Prowler Alert: A call was made from the 1700 block of 2nd Ave. South regarding a complaint of two kids wearing dark clothes who allegedly tried getting into a closed nearby business. Officers arrived to find everything was okay.
Church Thief: At 2:10 p.m. a call was made from a church on the 2000 block of 10th St. South regarding money stolen from a locked door inside the church.
Dog Bite: At 5:38 p.m. a call was made from the 1900 block of 19th Ave. South regarding a man bitten by a dog. The caller was unsure if the dog was current on it’s shots.
