Lane Closures on 8th St. and Sweat Ave.

For the City Times

Northbound lanes of 8th Street S, between Airport Avenue and Sweat Avenue will be closed to repair a utility excavation.

Northbound traffic will be narrowed to one lane and shifted to one southbound lane and southbound traffic will be narrowed to one lane during the work. Work will include removing the temporary patch material, saw cutting and removing some concrete, placing concrete, and allowing for the concrete to cure.

Work is expected to begin Monday, April 18, 2016 depending on contractor availability. Work is expected to take about five days.
