Police & Sheriff Calls for Apr. 19
Oblivious: At 10:56 a.m. a call was made from a business on the 1000 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding a customer being observed taking items from the store. Police made contact and she was arrested.
Bullied: At 3:04 p.m. a call was made from the 1200 block of 19th Ave. South regarding a fight between three or more people. Allegedly, a kid that had been bullied by three others pulled out a knife and was threatening harm.
Battery: At 7:59 p.m. a call was made from the 700 block of Chase St. regarding a man who threw a phone at the caller. The phone hit her in the stomach and bruised. The man said he would leave for the night.
Heating Issue: At 1:10 a.m. a call was made from the 200 block of 15th St. South regarding a man who complained that he was unable to turn his heat down. He reported the heat as high as 87 degrees, and also reported seeing a swastika on the thermostat.
