A Toast to Great Futures – 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
A Toast to Great Futures is a Wine & Beer Tasting Gala benefiting Boys & Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area. Activities will include sampling a diverse and delicious selection of wines and craft beers, cuisine from Great Expectations, a silent auction, and raffles.
Proceeds go to the Boys & Girls Club. Tickets can be purchased for $75 at Boys & Girls Club- Pitsch Center, Richard’s Liquors and the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce. Must be 21 or older to attend.

Shoe Sensation is hosting a Clarks Trunk Show for one day only. The Clarks Representative will be here from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to personally talk to you. The Entire Stock of Clarks Shoes will be on Sale.

Local Vision 2016
Art exhibit with more than 80 pieces of original artwork from central Wisconsin artists in painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking, jewelry, fibers, basketry, furniture and personal adornment. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Master Gardeners at McMillan 10:00 a.m. — 12:00 p.m.
Few gardening pursuits are as rewarding as growing your own plants from seed, whether they be veggies, herbs, or flowers. Starting seeds indoors prior to the summer season allows gardeners a jump start in their growing season. Learn the what, why, and how of early indoor seed starting.

Wisconsin Rapids Area Community Choir Spring Concert – 4:00 pm. — 5:00 p.m.
The Wisconsin Rapids Area Community Choir will perform its spring concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 1. The concert will feature a variety of music including: a Pete Seeger medley; a Carole King medley; Precious Lord, Take My Hand; Locus Iste; Come Away (which uses words from Song of Solomon); and much more. All are welcome to stay for the reception after the performance. Concert is open to the public. Free-will offerings will be accepted before and after the performance.
The First Congregational Church is located at 311 2nd Street South.
