Police & Sheriff Calls for May 4
Stalled on the Tracks: At 8:55 a.m. a call was placed to dispatch from the railroad tracks on Chase St. and Riverview Expressway regarding a stalled vehicle on the tracks. CN was notified and halted all local trains until the vehicle could be removed.
Prowler Alert: At 4:27 p.m. a call was made from the corner of 25th Ave. South and Boles St. regarding two black males in a Monte Carlo with tinted windows. They allegedly drive to and from the nearby trailer park 20 times a day and act “suspicious”.
Like Animals: At 6:27 p.m. a call was made from the 1900 block of Gaynor Ave. by the Municipal Zoo regarding two people in a purple truck doing “inappropriate things”.
Elderly Prowler: At 8:44 p.m. a call was made from the 400 block of 11th St. South regarding an elderly lady walking around a property looking into windows and around the residence.
