Police & Sheriff Calls for May 5
Hitchhiker’s Guide to Wisconsin Rapids: At 9:16 a.m. a call was made from the corner of 1st St. North and Spring St. regarding a man who kept trying to flag people down for rides. The man was given a warning by police.
Suspicious Surveyor: At 6:47 p.m. a call was made from the 900 block of Baker St. regarding a man with a gun, who was kneeling down and pointing across the street. He was with another male dressed in orange.
Impressive Burnout: At 7:35 p.m. a call was made from the corner of 4th St. South and Witter St. with reports of a truck doing multiple donuts at the intersection. The truck then burned out a little up the street.
Latenight Barker: At 2:02 a.m. a call was made from the 400 block of Shady Ln. regarding a small dog, who had allegedly been barking for the past 30 minutes straight.
