Used Tools: At 1:28 p.m. a call was made from the 700 block of Pepper Ave. regarding two men selling used tools. The caller felt that it was suspicious and a record was made.

Meth Scare: A call was made from the 300 block of Birch St. regarding the caller’s nephew, who he feared was doing methamphetamine. According to the report, it states that the caller doesn’t know what was going on, and that the nephew has not responded to any calls. The caller was allegedly taking a nap behind the post office when the nephew ran off.

Neighborhood Watch: At 9:55 p.m. a call was made from the 2800 block of 3rd Ave. South regarding a possible break-in. The call came from a neighbor from behind the house in question. The caller stated that the potential burglar was seen smoking a cigarette nearby after allegedly trying to break in. Police found nothing at the scene upon arrival.

Skate Park Scare: A call was placed from the 700 block of 8th St. South regarding a woman allegedly passed out in the skate park. An elderly couple placed the call, and stated that they tried shaking the woman, and she would not wake up. The woman, however, was found to be breathing and apparently okay.
