Sex Offenders have always lived in our communities. It was not until the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry and community Notification Law was enacted that law enforcement was able to share this information with the community.  Threats, intimidation, or harassment of released sex offenders is prohibited by Wisconsin state law, and misuse of the information in this notification to do so will not be tolerated.

Conviction Date: Mar 7, 2011 – 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child (Wood County) – Sex with a child 16 aged 16 or older (3 counts) (Wood County)

On May 17, 2016, Mr. Rehberg will be released back into Port Edwards/Wood County, which was his county of residence at the time of his convictions. Mr. Rehberg will be on supervision with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections until May 23, 2026.

Upon release, Mr. Rehberg will be placed on Intensive Supervision and will subject to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Electronic Monitoring Program (EPM) and Global Positioning System (GPS).  Mr. Rehberg will be required to register with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry Program for life.  The Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry can be located at www.widocoffenders.org
