“Vania, Sonia, Masha & Spike” — 7:30 p.m.
THE STORY: Middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia share a home in Bucks County, PA, where they bicker and complain about the circumstances of their lives. Suddenly, their movie-star sister, Masha, swoops in with her new boy toy, Spike. Old resentments eventually flare up. Also on the scene are sassy maid Cassandra, who can predict the future, and a lovely young aspiring actress named Nina, whose prettiness somewhat worries the imperious Masha.

Sports & Stories — 6:30 p.m.
A monthly “summer” activity for kids age 3 to 12 years old. On the second Friday of the month, kids will learn and play a sport and hear a Bible story. In May, the sport is KICKBALL and the story is CREATION. For more information call 715-459-7024 or 715-325-3355.

“Urban Landscapes” & “Cranberry Fest” Art Exhibits — 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This will be a juried mixed media exhibit at the Central Wisconsin Cultural Center, located at 240 Johnson St. in Wisconsin Rapids.

South Wood County 5K9 Walk/Run & Huge Plant Sale — 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
South Wood County Humane Society is holding the Annual 5K Walk Run, Plant Sale & Vendor Fair. Registration is $20.
Pledge prizes – Raise $75 – receive free registration & t-shirt/Raise $200 – receive free registration, hoodie & enter to win a “Pamper your Pooch” basket!

Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department Open House — 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Many different events and displays on hand, including an appearance by Roscoe the Rafter. There will be demonstrations and children’s games throughout the day. Food and drinks will be available. The Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department is located at 1511 12th St. South.

Wood County Master Gardner Volunteers Plant Sale — 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Wood County Master Gardener Volunteers are sponsoring a plant sale. New Varieties of Perennials, Hostas and Native Plants. Locally-grown plants from our own gardens. Also available: Special Blend Potting Soil, Worm Castings, and Homemade Bird Suet. This sale is located at 627 8th St. South inside the Witter Field Shelter House.

Walk for Life — 10:00 a.m.
9:00 am registration & donation check-in; 10:00 am walk
South Wood County Park Shelter participate in the “Walk for Life” to raise awareness and donations to support First Choice Pregnancy Resource Center. Complete the 4 mile Lake Wazeecha loop, or 2 mile turnaround. Register FREE online at www.firstchoiceprc.org or by phone. Sponsor brochures are available at both locations, or go paperless using the online platform found on website.
Concessions and raffle available day of. Awards for most money raised by team and individual will take place after walk.

First Integrated Health Fair — 10.00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“Our vision is to educate the general public to take ownership of their health by integrating a wide range of choices geared to assisting their bodies to heal themselves. This event will feature many different practitioners and there will also be vendors for hand crafted Goat Milk soaps, Pasture raised meats, essential oils, food based supplements, homeopathics and more!”
