Police & Sheriff Calls for May 23
Drugged and Elderly: At 8:09 a.m. a call was made from the 4600 block of 8th St. South regarding the caller’s 84-year-old family member, who he felt was being drugged. The man allegedly had high amounts of barbiturates in his system after leaving the hospital.
Remote Prowler: At 9:30 a.m. a call was made from the corner of 10th St. North and Washington St. regarding a man who reportedly had been walking up and down the road with some type of remote in his hand. Officers found that the man was flying a drone.
Extended Parking: At 9:07 a.m. a call was made from the corner of 2nd St. South and Witter St. regarding a vehicle that had been parked on a hill for allegedly three months.
Tackle Box Theft: At 10:41 a.m. a call was made from the 3000 block of 9th St. S regarding the theft of a tackle box on from a boat.
