For the month of June, one can enjoy endless amounts of cupcakes in the most patriotic way imaginable.

Renewed Liberty is a local, non-profit organization that provides new United States flags to those who are flying worn, faded, or torn flags. iSparkle Cupcakes in Wisconsin Rapids is helping the cause in the sweetest of ways.

For every cupcake purchased in the month of June, iSparkle will donate $1 to the Renewed Liberty organization. Established in 2012 by owner Cassie Joy Sweet, iSparkle, and community involvement has always been on the table, and this situation is no different.

“I was contacted [by Renewed Liberty] and it’s a cute idea,” said Sweet. “It’s a really good cause.”

Sweet will also be providing the centerpiece for the coming annual Iron Chef competition hosted by the South Wood County Humane Society. The cupcakes will be auctioned off during the event.

For those who still want to donate to Renewed Liberty, but don’t have a sweet-tooth, can visit https://www.generosity.com/community-fundraising/renewed-liberty.

The organization also provides free flags to U.S. military veterans.
