Police & Sheriff Calls for May 25

Hunger Emergency: At 9:24 p.m. a 911 call was made regarding the need for food.
Sleepy Time: At 10:53 p.m. a call was made from the 800 block of 9th St. South regarding a gold mini-van outside of her house for over four hours. The van was running and lights were on. Officers found that the owner was sleeping inside of the van.
Van Vandalism: At 3:12 a.m. a call was made from the 1400 block of 21st Ave. South regarding an attempted break-in of the caller’s van. The back window was taken off and the alarm sounded.
Parking Lot Disturbance: A call was made from the 1200 block of Huntington Ave. regarding two people shouting at each other in a nearby parking lot. There was alleged discussion of shooting someone in this heightened conversation.
