Police & Sheriff Calls for Jun. 1

Patio Furniture Thief: At 9:55 a.m. a call was made from the 200 block of 12th St. South regarding the theft of patio furniture.

House of Cats: A call was made from the 2300 block of 4th St. South regarding more than four cats entering a residence through a broken window. The grass is allegedly overgrown at the house, and it was cleared by officers.

Parent’s Nightmare: At 4:56 p.m. a call was made from the 2000 block of Apricot St. regarding her son, who allegedly came home on methamphetamine and took her cell phone. Officers took the son to the hospital for medical assistance.

Phantom Party: At 9:56 p.m. a call was made from the 4700 block of 8th St. South regarding a possible underage party. Officers would find that there was no party at all.
