Withers Sentenced to Five Years in Prison

A Wisconsin Rapids man will face jail time for selling heroin.
Jesse Withers, 32, was found guilty of two counts of manufacturing and delivering heroin on May 25 at the Wood County courthouse.
Withers will serve five years imprisonment, as well as face five years of extended supervision and 2 and a half years of counseling. Withers was charged in January for selling heroin to an informant with his wife, Garen Withers.
Withers was also found guilty of assaulting a corrections officer and sentenced to an additional 18 months imprisonment.
A pre-trial conference is pending schedule for his wife, Garen.
