A 30-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of methamphetamine possession after police found the drug in her possession at two different times.

Jessica Johnson, of Wisconsin Rapids, is charged with two counts of possession of methamphetamine.

According to police reports, on May 23, a search warrant was executed on the 400 block of 8th Ave. North in Wisconsin Rapids. Johnson was identified as one of the tenants living at the residence, and police found multiple pipes in her bedroom believed to be used for illegal substances.

Also found was a baggie containing a white, crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine. Johnson was arrested and taken into custody by police.

Soon after changing into her jail uniform, a corrections officer reported that two baggies containing a white crystalline substance allegedly fell from her upper arm area during the changing process. Johnson told police that it was “meth”.

Tests would later come back positive for methamphetamine in both findings.

If convicted, Johnson faces three years and six months imprisonment per charge of methamphetamine possession, and up to $10,000 in fines. Her pre-trial conference is scheduled for Jul. 29. Johnson is currently out on a $5,000 bond.
