Wisconsin Rapids Weekend Rundown

A multitude of events going on this weekend in Wisconsin Rapids.

Thursday, Jun. 16 – Sunday, Jun. 19
Cranberry Blossomfest Weekend – Various Times

The Cranberry Blossom Festival celebrates the blossoming community that is Wisconsin Rapids. From live music, arts and crafts, food vendors, parades, a car show, and much more, this weekend is the perfect way to celebrate your community. Friday, Jun. 17-19
The Energy Fair – 9:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m.

The Midwest Renewable Energy Association has hosted The Energy Fair since 1990, and is the hot spot on education for sustainable living, energy efficiency, and the future of energy. There will be over 200 exhibitors and 250 workshops on hand. This event is located at the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, 7558 Deer Rd. in Custer.

Saturday, Jun. 18
Rome Sno-Bandits Car Show – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

20 different classes of vehicles will line this car show in Alpine Park in Nekoosa. Admission is $8 per vehicle. There will be refreshments, raffles, prizes and live music. Alpine Park is located at 1156 Alpine Dr. in Nekoosa.

Saturday, Jun. 18
Indoor Rummage Sale — 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Faith Reform Church will be holding an indoor rummage sale. This event is located at 1321 32nd St. North in Wisconsin Rapids.

Sunday, Jun. 19
“Fur, Feather and Fidelity: Military Mascots”

Arpin is hosting a showing of mascots dating back to the civil war. The exhibits are meant to educate lovers of military service and animals. This exhibit is provided by the Wisconsin Veterans Museum. The event is located at 8091 County Rd. E in Arpin.
