Police & Sheriff calls for Jun. 16

Egg Bandit Strikes Again: At 6:42 a.m. a call was made from the 2600 block of 3rd St. South regarding a complaint that her vehicle was egged overnight. There have been a series of eggings in the area over the past week. A vehicle was also reported egged on the 2200 block of Gaynor Ave.
Phantom Fast Food Drug Deal: At 12:18 p.m. a call was made from a fast food establishment on 8th St. South regarding a drug deal. Police investigated to find that it was a simple misunderstanding, and no drug deal when down.
“Just Shopping”: At 8:11 p.m. a call was made from a car dealership on W. Grand Ave. regarding two males attempting to open the doors of various vehicles. When confronted, the males stated that they were “just shopping”.
Loud Teens: At 11:48 p.m. a call was made from the 1300 block of 21st Ave. South regarding teenagers allegedly drinking and partying. Officers found that the teenagers were just being loud, but not drinking.
