Wisconsin Rapids, WI — The annual Cranberry Blossom Festival is a celebration of where the berries begin and our blossoming community.

The Cranberry Blossom Festival Princess Program is a part of the annual festival and gives young ladies ages 10-13 the opportunity to serve as ambassadors for the festival and the community.  As part of the program they are required to give a 1 ½ to 2 minute presentation on cranberries and their importance to the area.

The princesses and/or princess and court attend various events during the festival and the community throughout the year.

The Central Wisconsin Cultural Center hosts a wide array of exhibits, varying art classes and workshops for adults and children, along with a pottery studio and private music lessons. The Princesses were overjoyed to be able to attend and participate in the Art B4 Dark event, held at the Central Wisconsin Cultural Center in conjunction with the 2016 Cranberry Blossom Festival.

This event featured this year’s festival artwork artist, Stephen Kipfer and a presentation titled, “Cranberries-A recipe for community identity.”
