Police & Sheriff Calls for Jun. 24

Dog Day: At 11:48 a.m. a call was made from the 1300 block of Chestnut St. regarding concern over a neighbor shouting “help me” while trying to crawl under her house. Police would find that the woman was just yelling at her dog.
A/C Thief: A call was made from the 2800 block of Boles St. regarding the theft of an air conditioner from an apartment within the building.
Little Arsonists: A call was made from the 900 block of 14th St. South regarding a fire started by three kids in a nearby park. The fire was out by the time police arrived.
Noise Complaint: At 9:21 p.m. a call was made from the 1100 block of 16th St. North regarding a noise complaint of music being played so loud that the caller wasn’t even able to stay home. There were reports of hearing the music a mile away. Police caught up with the person and gave him a warning.
