Police & Sheriff Calls for Jun. 26
Dangerous Squirrel: At 7:35 p.m. a call was made from the 2000 block of Saratoga St. regarding a report of a possible rabid squirrel in the caller’s backyard.
Zoo Protest: At 9:10 p.m. a call was made from the 1900 block of Gaynor Ave. regarding a teen girl screaming at the zoo.
Just Fireworks: At 9:59 p.m. a call was made from the 2500 block of Sampson St. regarding a complaint of hearing gunshots. The caller was “positive” that it was not fireworks. Police would find that it was indeed just fireworks.
Cell Phones Hurt: At 10:49 p.m. a call was made from the 2600 block of 10th St. South regarding a complaint that an acquaintance threw a cell phone at her.
