The public will have the opportunity to voice their opinions to help make Wisconsin Rapids a thriving community.

McMillan Library will team up with UW-Extension for a meeting to ask important questions in the community, and make a positive change with the right answers. The meeting tomorrow will focus on choosing an important priority issue for the city.

The questions posed will be as follows:

Which identified topic has the most potential for impact, and is it achievable?

Do we have adequate, accessible resources to tap into?

Do we have balanced buy-in from community members?

Do we need to do some homework and find out more about priority issues?

This meeting takes place Jun. 28 at 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at McMillan Library, located at 490 E. Grand Ave.

This program is made possible by a grant from the Brico Fund. WIPPS is a unit of the UW Colleges and UW-Extension. Founded in 2007, its mission is to address local, state and national issues by linking public scholarship, civic outreach and student service to enhance community life throughout Wisconsin.
