United Way Volunteer Training Offered in August

Those looking to volunteer for the United Way have their opportunity in late August.
2016 campaign volunteer training will kick off with “The United Way Experience” on Aug. 23. This program will give people the opportunity to discover programs involved with the United Way, as well as find out the individual struggles within the Wisconsin Rapids community.
There is no charge for attending this event. This experience will start at 9:30 a.m. and run until 1:00 p.m. with lunch in between provided by J2 Taco Bar.
The event is geared towards loaned executives, division chairs, employee campaign coordinators & those who want to learn more about United Way‘s Campaign.
The experience will be held at the Wisconsin Rapids Elk’s Lodge, located at 430 Jackson St. in Wisconsin Rapids. Please RSVP by Aug. 16.
