Chip Sealing to Take Place Monday and Tuesday

City Times Staff
Road construction will be underway to add six to seven years of life to Wisconsin Rapids roads.
Starting on July 25, many roads in the area will be treated by chip sealing, which is a process where asphalt and aggregate are combined. This process will take approximately an hour per two block area.
The city is asking drivers to be mindful of city workers, and to be careful driving on the new surface this week.
Dozens of streets will be affected by this work, and a map of roads to be chip sealed can be viewed here.
