ZAXX Technology Specialists has announced a promotion to benefit The Family Center.

For each computer or tablet purchased during the month of August, ZAXX will donate $10 to The Family Center. A $10 donation would provide one of the following:

Help with mileage costs to Marshfield’s Children Advocacy Center for a Family Center advocate to meet and support a family of a child affected by abuse.

About 2 pounds of hamburger for the food pantry. About 3 reams of copy paper for handouts. One to two containers of laundry detergent for shelter residents. Milk and eggs for shelter clients.

The Family Center, guided by survivor voices, works through education and community involvement to eliminate violence and provide safety for all people victimized by abuse. All services are provided at no cost to the client.

“Unfortunately, there are many families in our community who need the assistance that The Family Center provides,” said Mayor Zach Vruwink, “While the staff at the Center does an amazing job helping its clients, ZAXX is pleased to partner with them to somewhat ease the financial burden.”
