Gorski: “I am Hoping to Be Our Hardest Working State Representative”

Dear Voters,

I am an open, honest, creative, and hard working person.   I am a lifetime Wisconsin resident, and I have lived and worked in the Wisconsin Rapids area for 24 years.

As a Nekoosa School Counselor and Drug Abuse Prevention Specialist, I wrote and administered over $600,000 in grants to help our children graduate from high school and stay off drugs.  I wrote most of these grants on my spring breaks.  No one told me I had to do this work.  I did it to help the students of Nekoosa and the area.

I retired early at the age of 55 to care for my wife who suffered from early onset Alzheimer’s.  With the help of our Aging and Disability Resource Center and Community Care Connect, I was able to keep my wife home until she died in September of 2015.

If elected I will be your fulltime plus state representative, and I will not work another job.  As state representatives earn a salary of $50,000 per year plus generous benefits, I will do all I can to earn this salary.  I will be responsive to your phone calls and e-mails.  I will attend as many as meetings as possible.

I want to represent the 72nd in order to:

-Help Wisconsin’s excellent public schools get even better and find real solutions for impoverished students who struggle to learn.

-Help existing businesses to prosper while attracting new businesses to the 72nd.

-Help find additional ways to exploit our world class public university system in developing innovations that lead to more jobs for Wisconsinites.

-Help empower our DNR to effectively and scientifically protect our environment and manage our fish and game.

Visit my Facebook page for more information at: David Gorski for the 72nd.

I am hoping to be our hardest working state representative ever.

I am asking for your vote on August 9th.

Sincerely,

David Gorski 72nd Assembly District Candidate
