Three residents face charges of manufacturing cocaine after selling to undercover police.

Arlen Hughes, 48, Emanuel Lewis, 39, and Katherine Pfeifer, 40, all of Wisconsin Rapids, face multiple charges of selling cocaine, with Pfeifer facing additional charges for selling heroin.

According to police reports, an investigation was launched with the drug task force into the possible trafficking activity of Pfeifer earlier this year.

On three separate occasions, undercover officers set up meetings with Pfeifer at multiple locations for the sale of controlled substances totaling 6.46 grams of cocaine. Officers also observed a man working with Pfiefer in the sale of cocaine identified as Emanuel Lewis, as well as an additional man in another sale identified as Arlen Hughes.

In total, the three sold nearly 11 grams worth of cocaine and approximately 4 grams of heroin to undercover officers.

If convicted, Pfeifer faces up to 60 years imprisonment and up to $125,000 in fines for multiple counts of the manufacturing and sale of heroin and cocaine. Hughes faces up to 48 years imprisonment and up to $100,000 in fines for his charges Lewis only faces one count which could land him in prison for 12 years and up to $25,000 in fines.

The three have a preliminary hearing scheduled for Aug. 11.
