For the City Times

The Wisconsin Rapids Public School District is looking for a parent interested in serving a three-year-term on the District’s Council for Instructional Improvement committee (CII).

The Council meets to discuss and make recommendations related to curriculum, instruction and assessment. Three parent representatives serve on the Council, along with teachers, administrators and a Board of Education member.

For the 2016-2017 school year, the Council will meet from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. on October 12 and November 10, and from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. on February 27 and April 19.

If you have any interest in serving on the Council for Instructional Improvement, please contact Kathi Stebbins-Hintz, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, at 715-424-6721, x-1053 or [email protected] by Tuesday, August 30.

The Board of Education will appoint the new parent representative to the CII at the September Educational Services Committee meeting.
