Airport Meeting News & Notes
Here is a brief summary of news and notes from the Airport meeting held on Thursday, Aug. 4 at Alexander Field.
-The commission heard from Brad Kremer, of Syngenta, for the possibility of using the estimated 150-200 acres of land at the airport for soybean production.
-Talks of a new T-Hangar continues, and progress is moving along in efforts to secure and build one.
-Members of the commission considered possible dates for a “business after hours” event held at the airport. The date has yet to be determined.
