Comic Book Artist — 7:00 p.m./2:00 on Sunday
Synopsis courtesy Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre: Stanley Leonardo Sappovitz wants nothing more than to become a comic book artist. When he gets a job as a janitor at Wonder Comics, he anxiously awaits the day that his boss, D.C. Wunderman, will notice his drawings and discover his artistic genius. It seems like that day will never come until Wunderman invests in a shipment of magical pens, guaranteed to bring to life any character his artists create. When the staff artists unwittingly unleash the dreaded Doctor Shock Clock, it is up to Stanley to create his own team of superheroes. Will they have the superpowers to conquer this dastardly super-villain, who can stop time with the snap of his fingers? Only time will tell!

Babcock American Legion Brat Fry — 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Babcock American Legion will be hosting a brat fry at Copps this Saturday. Copps is located at 900 E. Riverview Expressway in Wisconsin Rapids.

Jabber Jawz Comedy Night — 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Comedian Ron Lamprecht headlines this night of comedy with an optional dinner. Dinner plus the show is $30, and $10 for the show only. This show is for ages 21 and older. Jabber Jawz is located at 3704 Wood County 54 in Nekoosa.

Bulldogs’s Blues Fest — 2:00 p.m.
Bulldog’s Bar is hosting a night of blues. Featured bands include Blue Summit Band, The Nick Bell Band, and Maggie Blues Chick Aliotta and the Mighty Fines. Bulldog’s located at 4010 Plover. Rd.
