“Seeing Spots” Aspiring Women Girls’ Nights Out Aug. 17 & 24

For the City Times
Go ahead, admire your birthday suit! Checking your skin each year on your birthday can be the first step in preventing skin cancer, the most common form of cancer in the United States.
Aspirus invites all ladies to learn more about skin cancer at “Seeing Spots,” a free Aspiring Women girls’ night out.
Aspirus Surgeon Dr. Sean Cashin and Aspirus UW Cancer Center Oncologist Dr. Ron Kirschling will discuss the ABCs of skin cancer and skin care and how prevention is key. Ladies will also sample cancer-fighting refreshments and take home an Aspiring Women gift.
“Seeing Spots” will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Stevens Point Country Club on Wednesday, August 17, and at the Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids on Wednesday, August 24. Just pick the place and date that best fits your schedule when you register.
Attendance for “Seeing Spots” is free, but advance registration is required. To register, visit aspirus.org/AspiringWomen or call 1-800-847-4707. Attendees must register individually.
Registration closes for the Stevens Point girls’ night out on August 10, and for the Wisconsin Rapids girls’ night out on August 17.
