B.R.A.C.E. Mental Health Course Offered at McMillan

An educational workshop is being offered by McMillan Library regarding the effects of climate extremes on mental health on Wednesday, Sept. 7.
The workshop will also go into how climate extremes affect infrastructure in Portage and Wood County. Discussion will involve pre-planning for extreme weather events, mental health, and sheltering needs for special populations.
Guest speakers will include Kay Jewel and Jay Moynihan from UW-Extension. This workshop will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
