Police & Sheriff Calls for Aug. 24
Creepy Tailing: At 9:57 a.m. a call was made to dispatch form the 1500 block of 24th St. South regarding a vehicle that followed her all the way through town to her home. The vehicle took off once she yelled at them to ask what they wanted.
Counterfeit: A call was made at 6:00 p.m. from a business on the 1700 block of 17th Ave. South for a complaint of counterfeit money used to purchase goods.
Washer/Dryer Thief: At 11:13 p.m. a call was made from the 2200 block of Chase St. regarding a theft. The caller believed their estranged partner took her washer and dryer.
Dogs Were Barking: At 12:05 a.m. a call was made from the 1500 block of Norton St. in complaints that dogs were barking nearby. Police were unsure why dogs were barking and everything looked okay.
