“Loud Booms” in Rapids Just Military Training

According to the Wood County Dispatch Center, loud “booms” heard recently in the area are military jets.
These jets are performing military exercises, and is expected to continue over the next two days. The military apologizes for any inconvenience the noises may be causing.
No action needs to be taken on the part of any resident.
