Police & Sheriff Calls for Aug. 31
Garage Squatters: At 8:29 a.m. a call was made from the 1400 block of 21st Ave. South regarding two people living in a garage.
Bomb Threat: A call was made from the 200 block of 24th St. South in complaints of a 76-year-old man who threatened to blow up the building.
Field Thief: At 5:40 p.m. a call was made to dispatch regarding the theft of money from a concession stand at a sports field on the 300 block of 17th Ave. South.
Fighting Drunk: At 12:57 a.m. a man on the 1100 block of 19th Ave. South was reported to have been yelling and screaming because he was kicked out of a resident. He was also reported as “very drunk”, and took his shirt off and wanted to fight.
