Public Hearing on Road Construction Set for Sept. 6

A public hearing on road construction from 1st St. North to 200′ N. Poplar to city limits will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at city hall at 6:00 p.m.

This phase is a part of a multi-year improvement of the area which began several years ago on E. Jackson St. There is also improvements regarding traffic speeds and other residential concerns. The project between 1st St. and Poplar will address pavement improvements, underground utilities, as well as proposed cross sections for 1st St. reconstruction.
