Police & Sheriff Calls for Sept. 5

Ex-Husband Burglar: At 11:23 a.m. a call was made from the 1400 block of 29th Ave. South to report a break-in by the caller’s ex-husband.
Picking Fights: At 11:57 a.m. a call was made to dispatch in regards to a man in a biker vest who had been walking into traffic yelling at someone, attempting to start a fight.
Dog Chase: A call was made from the corner of 14th Ave. South and Alton St. in regards to a group of people allegedly shooting at a dog. Further investigation revealed that the group was trying to corral the dog with a stick to return him to his owner.
Suspicious Car: A call was made at 7:48 p.m. from the 200 block of Miller Ave. regarding a black vehicle in the area that kept backing up and pulling forward.
