Wis. Rapids Ranked No. 2 for Most Affordable Houses

In a recent home listing report released by Coldwell Banker, Wisconsin Rapids is the second least expensive place to buy a house in Wisconsin.
The report listed 47 cities, with Wisconsin Rapids coming in behind Beloit as the least expensive place to buy a house. The report took the averages of four bedroom, two bath homes. The average cost for a house in Wisconsin according to that data is $225,442.
While Wisconsin Rapids may be the second least expensive place to buy a home in Wisconsin at an average price of $121,158, it was Mequon that took top honors for most expensive place to buy a home, coming in at an average price of $474,739.
