For the City Times

Enbridge to host emergency response event on Wednesday, Sept. 21 – a demonstration of their commitment to pipeline safety, integrity, and response.

Enbridge has been proudly operating in Wisconsin since 1949. They play a vital role in the transportation and delivery of Wisconsin’s energy needs. This emergency response event is a showcase of Enbridge’s safety and emergency preparedness – its people, its processes and its equipment.

Enbridge is inviting Elected Officials, Emergency Responders, Community Leaders and media from around the region to the Nekoosa Community Center and Riverside Park for a luncheon and an Emergency Response Demonstration.

This first part of the event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., which will include a presentation and lunch. The second part, held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., will be a demonstration and equipment display.

The presentation will be hosted by the Nekoosa Community Center, located at 416 Crestview Lane in Nekoosa. The demonstration will be held at Riverside Park, located at Prospect Ave. and 8th St.
