According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a flash flood warning has been issued for Wood County until midnight.

Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain will be moving across the area. An additional two to three inches of rain is expected this evening over the southwest half of the county.

Locations that could receive flooding include Marshfield, Port Edwards, Babcock, and Nekoosa.

If you encounter a flooded road while driving, the NWS recommends that you turn around. Check back for updates.
