A 53-year-old woman faces charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent, after police found over three grams of the substance at the defendant’s home.

According to police reports, on Aug. 25, a search warrant was executed at a residence on the 100 block of 14th Ave. South. Authorities would identify the resident as Tina Visgar, of Wisconsin Rapids.

During the search, police found a purse with three knotted baggies containing methamphetamine, a mirror with a white crystal substance on it, and white powder on a dresser, all located in the same bedroom.

Visgar allegedly told police that she currently occupied the bedroom. In total, the amount of methamphetamine found equaled 3.2 grams.

Police spoke to Visgar who admitted to being a methamphetamine user, as well as a “middle person” to facilitate the delivery of the drug to other people.

If convicted, Visgar faces up to 15 years imprisonment and up to $50,000 in fines. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 30.
