Here is a rundown of news and notes from Tuesday night’s common council meeting.
-An emphasis on picking new voting venues for future elections were discussed by the council. This November’s elections will not be affected, but according to city clerk Paul Przybylski, informing voters if a decision has been made regarding the locations of new voting stations, residents should be made aware of it by this November.
-Tom Nowak was elected to a five year term, starting Oct. 1 of this year, to serve on the Water Works and Light Commission.
-The city pushed through a final approval to allow dogs in specific parks in the area. The 6-2 vote reflected a decision made last month by the Finance and Property committee. More information can be found here.
