City Times Staff
The United Way of Inner Wisconsin’s Volunteer Center is holding their Day of Caring on Saturday, Oct. 22.
They are accepting registrations from elderly or disabled individuals who wish to have their yard raked by United Way volunteers on that day. To register as a volunteer, or who have your yard raked, call 715-421-0390 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
This program is for low-income individuals, or those on a fixed income. The deadline for registration is Oct. 9. Participants will provide their own leaf bags and instructions for volunteers on leaf disposal.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and a hot breakfast. You can register online by clicking HERE.
